* Syrus -- spelled so similar to Synan, maybe Cyrus?
# Book of Synan
## Chapter 1
* Interestingly, the Ideya are called 'Warp Marbles' in the original text.
## Chapter 2
* Add better descriptions for Synan and Syrus and differentiate their looks.
* The monster that follows Synan, it would turn him into a monster if he turns back and sees him. Does this get used later in the story? Twilite is the monster's name.
* The "Book Temple" description book makes LNR sound hostile like they're taking over the world. Might not be compatible with Veronica's story.
* Avoiding the word "link" for the teleport books.
* Teleport books are always bound in purple leather with a golden title on the front.
New description of teleport books:
* All of the books in the Book Temple act as portals. Some of them come _out_, and some of them pull _in_.
* The books that summon monsters when opened, pull monsters *out*.
* Teleport books pull you *in* (and pop you out where the book points)
* The first page of the Teleport Book is a remarkable well-done piece of artwork showing the destination of the book. The drawing seems to slowly animate, encircling the destination from different angles.
* The second page is basically a wormhole, a deep tunnel that plays with light and looks trippy af, and its visual appearance gradually overtakes the full visual of the user, and then _pop!_ you're where the book teleported you all at once.
In the original story, the characters travel thru the portal, thru the gap between dimensions, and arrive at LNR in "Universe B" where Jackal is living in Wizeman's Castle. Not much else happens on LNR Univers B but here are some ideas for fleshing out more story:
* Why does LNR exist in Universe B? It's floating over the Earth all the same, so some similar plotline had to have led up to this happening. The exact details of this plot can remain mysterious on purpose.
* Veronica in Universe B had a similar journey to try and stop Jackal; maybe Jackal is an invader to that universe as well, having come from yet another place in the multiverse.
* Failing to defeat Jackal, she instead broke the portal to the gap between dimensions, to trap Jackal in her universe and prevent him invading other universes.
Veronica had a shadow form and an old (lost) version of the story had a Veronicus character, also with a shadow form. I'm not sure whether the shadow forms are used anymore, but a possible way to revive the other character:
* Veronicus is the Veronica counterpart of Universe B.
* Her shadow form is equal in power to Jackal (new: while Jackal has a mask on that limits his power). After breaking the portal, Veronicus continued (in shadow form) to try and defeat Jackal, but it's always a draw, and she's the last survivor on Earth in that universe.
