We can only launch on Itch.io once, and make it on the Recent Games list and get the best exposure, so the "1.0 release" best be good.

Patreon can fill a niche before 1.0:

Anyone who gives money at least once gets a License Key for the full game.
Recurring supporters can be given community benefits.

Supporter benefit ideas:

Discord flair (create a Discord server) and access to secret channels.
- After the game has a "1.0" amount of levels and has a fanbase, hold level contests for inclusion in the game's defaults. They could go in a LevelPack and give credit to the author.
Access to nightly builds of the game between major releases (or similar)
Name included in a "Credits" screen in-app baked into the next release (like YouTubers do in the outrolls of their videos)

List your funding goals in your description (e.g., the remaining tasks to get to 1.0)
